We are proud to announce that our call for ideas gathered 35 applications from all over the world. We received entries from Finland, Uganda, Rwanda, Australia, Germany, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Brazil, USA, The Netherlands, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Ethiopia, India, Italy, Latvia, Indonesia and Singapore.
This really shows what a wonderful synbio community is out there, across all the inhabited continents. The variety of ideas are as broad as the geographical scope of the entries. The competition attracted ideas ranging from AR, waste treatment with insects, biopolymer production, bioprocess purification, COVID-19 detection, waste to pharmaceuticals and many many more.
